The Atta Igala, HRM Matthew Opaluwa Oguche Akpa has decorated Chief Simon Ochimana Atadogbanya as ONU EGUME and District Head of Okura district with a charge to him to be father to all and ensure unity of his people in his domain. The Atta Igala gave the charge n his palace at Idah, then reminded the people of EGUME and Okura. District to reman steadfast and support the traditional ruler for a prosperous reign He called on Igala sons and daughters to remember their root as one distinct group to attract development projects to the region. HRM Matthew Opaluwa Oguche Akpa restated his commitment for better Igalaland with examplary Leadership worthy of emulation by all He reminded the people that leaders are ordained by God and appealed to those in positions of authority to lead with the fear of God. Speaking, 
the new ONU EGUME, HRH Simon Ochimana Atadogbanya appreciated Ata Igala for the honour and called for service. He promised not to derail in the task ahead with large heart to accommodate divergent issues for a better EGUME and Okura district where brotherly love supercede individual leaning. The ONU EGUME then appealed to the people of Egume and Okura district to join hands with him to make the district home for all. He assured Ata Igala that he will accord the traditional institution with respect and transformation that project the image of Egume, Okura district and Igalaland in general.
