DEPUTY SPEAKER CELEBRATES INTERNATIONAL WOMEN’S DAY WITH KOGI STATE FIRST LADY
The Deputy Speaker of the Kogi State House of Assembly, Rt. Hon. Comfort Ojoma Nwuchiola Egwaba, joined the Wife of the Executive Governor, Hajiya Sefinat Usman Ododo, today to commemorate International Women’s Day.
This year’s celebration, held under the theme: “Give to Gain” Right, Justice, Action For All Women and Girls,” provided a platform for Rt. Hon. Egwaba to commend Governor Ahmed Usman Ododo and the First Lady for their proactive commitment to the empowerment and wellbeing of women across Kogi State. The Lawmaker noted that their commitment serves as an inspiring example of leadership in action.
Celebrating alongside fellow women at the event, the Deputy Speaker reaffirmed her personal commitment to uplifting women and Girls in her constituency and beyond, pledging to continue advocating for policies that ensure justice, rights, and progress for all.
