Engineer Sunday Samuel Kolawole is a distinguished graduate of Chemical Engineering from the Federal University of Technology, Minna. He furthered his education with a postgraduate diploma in Petroleum Geoscience from the Laser Petroleum and Geoscience Center in Port Harcourt. During his academic tenure, he was a prominent figure in student unionism, both at the Polytechnic and university levels. Notably, his political involvement at The Federal Polytechnic Bida extended well beyond his graduation, and he remarkably achieved an upper credit despite his active political engagements.

Professional Experience

Engineer Kolawole began his career as an IT student at Boja Industries in Mopa, where he gained recognition among the youth and students for dedicating time to teach students from Amuro Community Secondary School and Baptist High School Mopa. He then served as a youth corps member at Oceanic Bank (now Eco Bank), where he established enduring professional relationships.

Subsequently, he joined Polris Digitech as a field worker and quickly advanced to become one of their top supervisors. In June 2012, he transitioned to International Paints West Africa (IPWA) as a Research and Development Laboratory Technologist. His career trajectory then led him to the oil and gas sector, where he joined Chevron Nigeria Limited, gaining invaluable insights into societal functionality driven by determination.

Currently, Engineer Kolawole holds the position of Depot/Regional Manager at Armstrong Paints. Throughout his career, he has consistently leveraged his roles to provide employment opportunities for youths from Okun Land and facilitate various contracts for his people of Yagba land.

Engineer Kolawole is happily married to a wonderful woman from Yagba and is blessed with three sons.
