Former Governor of Kogi State and aspirant for the Kogi Central Senatorial District, Yahaya Adoza Bello, has described President Bola Ahmed Tinubu as a courageous leader with the capacity to move Nigeria forward.
Speaking with journalists after casting his vote at his polling unit in Okene-Eba, Agassa, Ahache Ward, Bello said the massive turnout witnessed during the exercise reflected growing support for the reelection of President Tinubu in 2027.
According to him, the President has laid a solid foundation during his first tenure which requires continuity and consolidation.
The former governor commended the Tinubu administration for embarking on major infrastructure projects, particularly the ongoing concrete pavement road construction from Abuja through Okene to Benin, noting that previous administrations between 1999 and 2023 were unable to address the project.
He stated that leadership requires courage and decisive action, stressing that President Tinubu has demonstrated purposeful and visionary leadership in handling national challenges.
Bello also expressed appreciation to members of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in his ward, Okene Local Government Area, Kogi Central Senatorial District, and across the state for their overwhelming participation in the party’s presidential primary election.
He urged party members to remain united and continue supporting the administration’s policies and programmes aimed at national development.
