Following the recent inauguration of the National Executive Council of the PBAT Door-to-Door Campaign Organisation, the Kogi State Executive Committee, led by the State Coordinator, Hon. David Mark Ogwu, has paid a thank-you visit to the organisation’s patron and Honourable Commissioner for Youth and Sports Development, Hon. Monday Anyabe, to express appreciation for his unwavering support and encouragement.

The delegation, during the courtesy visit, conveyed its profound gratitude to the Commissioner for his invaluable support to the organisation and its members, describing his patronage as a source of strength and motivation to the Kogi State chapter.

The State Executive noted that the support and guidance of the Commissioner had contributed immensely to the growth and effectiveness of the organisation, assuring him of the commitment of the state leadership to sustaining the momentum and advancing the collective vision of the organisation.

Responding, Hon. Monday Anyabe commended the Kogi State delegates for their impressive comportment, discipline and exemplary conduct during the recent inauguration of the National Executives of the PBAT Door-to-Door Campaign Organisation in Abuja.

The Commissioner expressed satisfaction with the maturity and sense of responsibility displayed by the Kogi delegates, noting that their conduct demonstrated the level of commitment and preparedness required to advance the organisation’s objectives.

Hon. Anyabe further assured the delegation of the unwavering commitment of the administration of Governor Usman Ododo to supporting legitimate youth-oriented initiatives and activities capable of strengthening political participation and mobilisation across the state.

He pledged that the state government would continue to provide the necessary encouragement and support to facilitate the smooth running of the organisation’s activities, while urging members to remain united, focused and committed to the ideals of the organisation.

The Kogi State Executive also used the occasion to express its appreciation to the Honourable Commissioner and, by extension, Governor Usman Ododo, for the recent appointment of one of its members, Hon. Isah Aliyu, Coordinator of Okehi Local Government Area, as a Senior Special Assistant (SSA) in the recent appointments made by the Kogi State Government.

The organisation described the appointment as a demonstration of the Governor’s recognition of the contributions of young people and grassroots political actors to the development of the state, while congratulating Hon. Isah Aliyu on the confidence reposed in him.

The delegation assured the Honourable Commissioner and Governor Usman Ododo of its continued loyalty, commitment and grassroots mobilisation, promising to deploy its structures across the state in support of the political aspirations of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu.

The State Executive expressed confidence that, through sustained grassroots engagement, strategic mobilisation and effective door-to-door advocacy, the organisation would contribute significantly to securing a resounding victory for President Bola Ahmed Tinubu in the forthcoming 2027 presidential election.

The visit ended on a note of renewed commitment, solidarity and optimism, with the Kogi State chapter reaffirming its determination to strengthen its grassroots structures and work collaboratively with relevant stakeholders towards achieving its political objectives.
