

Breaking: 176 Abductees From Woro Community Regain Freedom

The 176 people, including women and children, who were abducted by bandits in Woro community, Kaiama Local Government Area of Kwara State earlier this year have regained their freedom.
The victims, who had been held captive since February, were rescued on Wednesday in a joint security operation.
The member representing Gwanabe/Gweria/Bani/Adena Constituency in the Kwara State House of Assembly, Hon. Saidu Baba Ahmed, confirmed the development.
He said: “Yes, the Woro kidnap victims have been released. I’m very, very excited about this development. We give thanks to President Bola Tinubu, Governor AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq and our security operatives,” the lawmaker.”
