The Accountant General of Kogi State, Dr. Habibat Oyiza Tijjani Onumoko, has charged the people of Kogi State to continue to support the administration of Governor Ahmed Usman Ododo.
In a message delivered through the Coordinator of the Fair Win Women Advancement Association (FAWWASS) in Ogori/Magongo LGA, the Accountant General said the administration of Governor Ododo had demonstrated a strong commitment to service, development and the welfare of the people.
She said, “The journey over the past 
years has been remarkable. Governor Ahmed Usman Ododo has demonstrated that leadership is fundamentally about service, impact and putting the interests of the people first.
“Across Kogi State, we have witnessed significant interventions in infrastructure and other critical sectors. We have also seen greater attention to the welfare of workers and pensioners, including the prompt payment of salaries and pensions.”
The Accountant General further noted that while the administration had recorded notable achievements, there remained more opportunities to be explored for the benefit of the people.
“These achievements deserve recognition, but more importantly, they demonstrate that there is still enormous potential to be unlocked.
“There is much more work to be done, and we believe Governor Ododo deserves the opportunity to consolidate the gains already recorded and take Kogi State to an even greater height.”
The Accountant General also called on the people of Ogori/Magongo LGA to fully key into the policies and programmes of the present administration and support credible candidates presented by the All Progressives Congress (APC) across the state.
She urged the people to look forward to more years of purposeful leadership, accelerated development, expanded opportunities and shared prosperity under the administration of Governor Ahmed Usman Ododo.
The Director of Local Government and the Treasurer were also present at the meeting.
