Kogi Front Commends Ododo for Mobilising Kogi Political Heavyweights for APC in Osun
The Kogi Front, a political support group, has commended the Kogi State Governor, Alhaji Ahmed Usman Ododo, for mobilising political heavyweights from the state to Osun State in support of the All Progressives Congress (APC) ahead of Saturday’s governorship election.
The group described the governor’s move as a demonstration of strategic political leadership, party loyalty and commitment to strengthening the APC beyond the boundaries of Kogi State.
In a statement issued on Friday, the Kogi Front said Governor Ododo’s decision to mobilise experienced political leaders and grassroots stakeholders from Kogi to support the APC in Osun State showed his understanding of the importance of solidarity and collective action within the party.
According to the group, the governor’s intervention has provided additional strength to the APC campaign machinery in Osun State and demonstrated that effective political leadership requires cooperation and support among party members across different states.
The Kogi Front noted that Governor Ododo’s initiative was not merely about electoral participation but also reflected his commitment to the growth, consolidation and success of the APC as a national political platform.
It said Kogi State’s contribution to the APC’s efforts in Osun was a clear indication of the political experience, organisational capacity and grassroots mobilisation that the state could bring to the party’s national activities.
The group further described Governor Ododo as a leader who understands the importance of supporting fellow party members during critical electoral contests, adding that his efforts would further strengthen unity and cooperation within the APC.
The Kogi Front expressed optimism that the collective efforts of APC leaders and supporters would translate into victory for the party in the Saturday, August 15, 2026 governorship election in Osun State.
The group therefore praised Governor Ododo for what it described as his political courage, strategic foresight and unwavering commitment to the ideals of the APC.
It also called on APC members and supporters in Osun State to remain united, peaceful and committed to the party throughout the electoral process.
