The Vice-Chancellor of Prince Abubakar Audu University (PAAU), Anyigba, Professor Salisu Ogbo Usman, is participating in the 37th Annual General Assembly Conference of the Committee of Vice-Chancellors of Nigerian Universities (CVCNU), which commenced 18, August, 2026, at the University Auditorium, University of Ilorin.
The conference, themed “Building Resilient Universities for Nigeria,” brings together Vice-Chancellors and key stakeholders in the Nigerian university system to deliberate on institutional challenges, policy innovation and strategies for strengthening the resilience and competitiveness of Nigerian universities.
The conference was officially declared open on behalf of the President, Federal Republic of Nigeria, Bola Ahmed Tinubu, GCFR, by the Honourable Minister of State for Education, Professor Suwaiba Said Ahmad.
Prof. Salisu Ogbo Usman joins other university leaders and education stakeholders at the assembly, which provides an important platform for knowledge sharing, collaboration and the exchange of ideas towards advancing university education in Nigeria.
