

Residents of Orietesu Ward in Okene Local Government Area of Kogi State have poured out heartfelt appreciation to the State Coordinator of the Renewed Hope Ambassadors, Hon. Abdulazeez Idris King, for the successful rehabilitation of boreholes under the Renewed Hope Water System Project, Phase 2.
The intervention, which has restored access to clean and potable water in the community, has been described by beneficiaries as timely, life-changing and a clear demonstration of people-oriented leadership.
Community members, who had long struggled with inadequate water supply, expressed relief and gratitude, noting that the project has significantly eased their daily hardship and improved sanitation in the area.
Speaking on behalf of residents, Ismail Adamu commended Hon. King for remembering the needs of the people at the grassroots. He noted that access to clean water had been a major challenge before the intervention.
“This gesture has brought relief to our community. We sincerely appreciate Hon. Abdulazeez Idris King for coming to our aid. May God continue to bless and strengthen him,” he said.
In a similar vein, Safiya Usman offered prayers for the benefactor, describing the project as a blessing to women and children who bear the burden of sourcing water for household use.
“We are grateful for this kindness. Hon. King has shown that he truly cares about the wellbeing of the people. We pray that God rewards him abundantly and grants him more success,” she said.
Residents unanimously described the borehole rehabilitation as a significant milestone in improving living conditions in Orietesu Ward, urging other leaders to emulate such impactful initiatives.
The Renewed Hope Water System Project is part of broader efforts aimed at enhancing access to essential services and improving the quality of life for communities across Kogi State.
