The Deputy Speaker of the Kogi State House of Assembly, Rt. Hon. Comfort Ojoma Nwuchiola Egwaba, was in attendance at the 27th Inaugural Lecture of Prince Abubakar Audu University (PAAU), Anyigba, delivered by Professor Oja Paul Egwemi, Professor of Dramatic Literature and Film Studies, on Tuesday, 8 September 2026.
The lecture, titled “The Gowns We Wear, the Towns We Go: Rethinking Performance Curricula for Development in Nigeria Amid a Polycrisis,” was held at the University Auditorium, with the Deputy Speaker joining other dignitaries, members of the university community and guests to mark the significant academic occasion.
