Son’s Wedding: UNILORIN VC Thanks All

The Vice-Chancellor of the University of Ilorin, Prof. Wahab Olasupo Egbewole, SAN, has expressed his appreciation to all those who graced the wedding ceremony of his children, Abduljelil and Zainab, which took place on Saturday, September 26, 2026.
Prof Egbewole appreciated members of the Governing Council, Principal Officers, members of Senate, Provost and Deans, Directors, Deputy Directors, Heads of Departments and units, the members of staff and students of Unilorin, for the wonderful support extended to him and his family on the wedding.
He also appreciated his colleague Vice-Chancellors in general and the members of KU8+ Consortium in particular, Chief Executives of various agencies, Proprietors and founders of various private universities, for making time out of their busy schedules to attend the event.
According to the legal icon, those whose presence also added the needed colour to the event included functionaries of Governments from across Nigeria, Lordships from various judicial divisions and the learned Senior Advocates of Nigeria and other legal practitioners, the President and members of Ilorin Emirates Descendants Progressive Union, the Chief Imam of Ile-Ife and other dignitaries from the Source, adding that they had all demonstrated beyond any shadow of doubt their love for his family.
He also appreciated other lovers and well wishers too numerous to mention for their contributions to the success of the event.
Prof. Egbewole prayed God to love them in return.
