The immediate past Governor of Kogi State and APC candidate for Kogi Central Senatorial District, Alhaji Yahaya Bello, on Saturday, October 4, took his campaign train to Ogori-Magongo Local Government Area.

During the visit, Alhaji Yahaya Bello paid a courtesy visit to the APC House of Assembly Candidate for Ogori-Magongo State Constituency, Hon. Emmanuel Duro Olufade, at his residence in Magongo, where he had discussions with Party Stakeholders.*
Thereafter, the train moved to the campaign field where the former Kogi State Governor formally presented Hon. Emmanuel Olufade as the APC House of Assembly candidate and Hon. Sunday Osiako as the APC Chairmanship candidate for Ogori/Magongo Local Government.
He added that all APC candidates are working as a team, noting that when you vote for one member of the team, you should also vote for other members of the team for the various positions they are aspiring to.
One of the youths of the local government, Jenifred Simon, said the occasion was electric, as Ogori-Magongo citizens came out in their large numbers to welcome the former governor and to cheer the candidates. According to him, the candidates are round pegs in round holes.
