The Deputy Speaker of the Kogi State House of Assembly and Member Representing Ibaji State Constituency, Rt. Hon. Comfort Ojoma Nwuchiola Egwaba, today Saturday 17th October 2026, participated in the Local Government Council elections in Ibaji Local Government Area of Kogi State.
The Deputy Speaker, emphasised the importance of active civic participation in strengthening democracy and ensuring effective governance at the grassroots.
She praised eligible voters for exercising their franchise peacefully and responsibly, noting that every vote counts in shaping the leadership and development of local communities.
Rt. Hon. Egwaba also reaffirmed her confidence in the leadership of Governor Ahmed Usman Ododo and the continued progress of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Kogi State.
