The Deputy Speaker of the Kogi State House of Assembly, Rt. Hon. Comfort Ojoma Nwuchiola Egwaba, on Thursday, 29th October 2026, joined family members, political associates and other 
well-wishers at Abejukolo, Omala Local Government Area, for the 40th-day Fidau prayer in honour of the late former Governor of Kogi State, Alhaji Ibrahim Idris.
The prayer provided an opportunity to honour his memory and offer prayers for the repose of his soul.
May Almighty Allah forgive his shortcomings, accept his good deeds and grant him Aljannatul Firdaus.
May his soul rest in peace. Ameen. 🤲
