KOGI CENTRAL CHIEF HUNTER INAUGURATED.
The Chairman of Adavi local government, Hon. Josepjg Omiyua Salami has called on. Hinters in Ebiraland to be united and work for the progress, peace and development of their fatherland. Hon. Joseph Salami stated this in his address during the coronation ceremony of Mr. Michael Bello as rhe new Chief hunter (Ohi Ozube) of Kogi central senatorial district at Ohiepe in Okehi LGA under OBE vabe ( Hunters) Association of Nigeria. He appreciated the Executive Governor of Kogi state, His Excellency, Alh. Yahaya Adoza Bello for providing enabling environment for the hunters to operate in the state. Hon. Joseph Salami who was the Chairman of the occasion, assured Hunters of his support as himself and his Okehi LGA counterpart, Hon. Abdulraheem Ozovehe Ohiare’s vision and mission for the hunters have become a reality and fruitful. He advised all the hunters not to ridicule the onerois task to rid kogi central of criminals and criminalities for the peace and security of our people. Speaking , the Chairman of Okehi LGA, Hon. Abdulrajeem Ohiare commended Governor Yahaya Adoza Bello for being security conscious to make the entire state safe and peaceful for all. He called on the hunters to be proactive on the task of securing kogi central by making themselves relevant on the security architecture of Kogi state by working in close partnership with the five local government chairmen and security agents in Kogi central. In a remark,
the Chief hunter (Ohi Ozube) for Kogi central Chief Michael Bello commended hunters in Ebiraland for their understanding and cooperation in their resolve to work for the peace and progress of the area. He appealed to Ebiras to join hands with them to succeed in the task ahead for providing security with the fear of God guidance in the area. The Ohi Ozube assured the people that he will be examplary to lead the hunters well and reminded his colleagues to show their professionalism by making kogi central senatorial district No Go Area for Criminals. Earlier, the Chairman coronation Planning Committee, Alh A. A. Boyi called for sustenance of cooperation and unity of hunters and assured that the New Ohi Ozube will be an epitome of love, pragmatic and charismatic in. leading hunters in Ebiraland and urged all to give total support to achieve greatness in the Association. Alh A.A. Boyi who is a retired Director of Administration and General Services (DAGS) from kogi LGA and a member of the association. reminded Ebiras to rallyu round the Chief hunter to achieve desirable result on their quest to serve humanity for societal progress and development. The coronation ceremony was attended by government officials including the chairmen of Okehi, Adavi and Ajaokuta LGAs where HOD Education in Ajaokuta LGA, Mall.
