I am deeply honoured and humbled to be recognised with the Distinguished Legislative Leadership, Community Development & People-Centred Service Award 2026 at the 16th Peace Achievers International Awards.
This recognition is not just a personal achievement but a reminder of the responsibility that comes with leadership and service to humanity. I sincerely appreciate the organisers of the Peace Achievers International Awards for finding me worthy of this honour.
My profound gratitude also goes to the Executive Governor of Kogi State, His Excellency, Alhaji Ahmed Usman Ododo, for the opportunity and privilege to serve our people. Your trust and support remain a source of encouragement.
To my wife, Princess Amina Yahaya Yakubu and members of my family, My Distinguished Hon. Colleagues, my leaders, my aides and great supporters, and everyone who continues to believe in our vision, this honour belongs to you too.
The journey continues. Greater commitment, more impactful service, and a renewed dedication to the people.
Thank you, and God bless Kogi State.
