Hon Aiyedun commends ODU for hosting 2021 Ovia Osese festival
The former Chairmanship aspirant of Ogori-Magongo LGA under the platform of APC Hon. Abiodun Aiyedun has commended the Ogori Descendant’s Union (ODU) for organising the 2021 Ovia Osese cultural festival without any iota of rancour.
Speaking with newsmen shortly after the event at Ogori civil centre on Saturday, the political icon described the event as a culture transformation that has placed Ogori land in a global map, urging all sons and daughters of the community to support the annual event in the interest of preserving the culture for the future generation.
“I am using this medium to appeal to well meaning Ogorians, corporate organisations and government at all level to support this ancient cultural festival especially in the area of sponsorship to enable the organisers sustain the annual hosting of the event” he appealed.
He thank Governor Yahaya Bello for his purposeful leadership especially in the area of security of life and property of the citizenry.
“There is no doubt that our governor His Excellency Alhaji Yahaya Bello has performed excellently in providing adequate security for the people of Ogori-Magongo local government and by extension the entire Kogi state” he stated.
