Commissioner for water resources Engr MD Farouk MNSE,MNICE felicitate with Muslim faithful in the country as they join their counterparts across the world to celebrate this year Eidil-Kabir.
In his statement,the celebration is all about Obedient to Almighty Allah commandments to Prophet Ibrahim (A.S) to sacrifice his son Ismail.Despite how unpleasant the command,he obeyed but Allah gave him a Ram in place of his son and commended his Loyalty to his commandments.
He charged the Muslim faithfuls to imbibe the spirit of togetherness,religious tolerance and give an avenue for love and affection all the time.Live in unity regardless of culture and tribal difference,utilize this time to pray fervently for our great country to be better.
In his goodwill message he urged all the citizens of Kogi State to continue to support the administration of His Excellency Governor AHMED USMAN ODODO and believe in his vision as he embarks on massive restructuring of the entire system of government in Kogi State and development of the State, as we are witnessing robourst improvement in welfare of the civil servant and infrastructural development across the State.
May Almighty Allah bless our State and the Nation in general,he prayed.
