Mrs Jagboro Olusola Victoria, Provost Kogi State College of Education Technical, Kabba has been conferred with the prestigious Award of Excellence in Education Management by the Chartered Institute of Development and Social Studies(CIDSS). The impressive occasion was staged at the Catholic secretariat of Nigeria resource centre, Durumi, Abuja today Thursday 3rd June, 2021
At the well attended ceremony attended by creme de la creme of the society, Mrs Jagboro was eulogized for her numerous humanitarian service to mankind and outstanding academic excellence demonstrated in her first tenure as the Provost of Kogi State College Technical, Kabba.
The Provost who was also inducted as a Fellow of CIDSS reiterate her commitment to do more to actualise the dream of His Excellency Alhaji Yahaya Bello, the Governor of Kogi State of leaving behind a College of Education Technical that can compete favourably with any Technical and Vocational institute around the globe.
In the same development, the Provost has called on the federal government to invest more in technical and vocational education as it is the better way of fighting unemployment and increasing skills among the youths.
