Two(2) Years In Office: Okehi LG Hails Hon. Muktar Bajeh
How time flies, it is now exactly two years ago that the young man Muktar mounted the saddle. Ordinarily speaking, two years may not be adequate to assess the stewardship of a leader. What however exceptional in this narrative is that the crowded catalogues of Muktar’s strings of achievements within the fleeing period of two years in office make it’s documentation a compelling imperative and a worthwhile periodic chromites of events of our time.
It is therefore hope rekindling and reassuring that at a critical time as this, Okehi LG is blessed with a leader in the person of Hon. Muktar Bajeh who has a sufficient dose of morality and a driving passion to redress fatal fundamental errors of the past. With the pragmatic steps so far, the Chief Whip, Kogi State House of Assembly has proved beyond all reasonable doubt that when honest, sincere, effective, competent, bold and God fearing leaders ascend the mantle of leadership the sky will be the limit of the people in growth and opportunities.
Taking meticulous stock of Hon. Muktar Bajeh scorecard since close to the past two years in office, one can only be justified to weigh him on the scale and pendulum of the variables of objectivity. Muktar achievement is best appreciated.
Education is pivoted to the overall development of society. Education is a journey without destination, so Hon. Muktar Bajeh has trade on this words because he is a lover of education, he paid for the WAEC of some students in his constituency and has been fully participating in the activities of Nigerian students from local bodies to national bodies.
Health. Health is a very important aspect to be focused on as a leader, he has seriously engaged in supporting the health centers in his constituency and beyond by engaging a professional in the field to test and carry out the necessary treatment required to person(s) with health challenges and provision of drugs of different kinds to all health centers with and outside his constituency. He equally reachout to people of disability at general hospital okene, sometime last year.
Youth/Women Empowerment/Gifts. In any given society youths are the bedrock of any community, he is a youth friendly leader who always want the youths to grow by empowering/ gift to them in either cash or materials. He remain the first legislator from Okehi LG that has gifted out cars to his supporters.
He engaged in giving out soft funds to the women and dishing out rappers to the women forum within and outside his constituency.
He empowered market women, okade riders, disables, weather and the students wings.
He has always engaged in fixing damage boreholes in his constituency and beyond.
Just a month ago, he empowered over 500 hundred people from his constituency and beyond.
Finally he called Okehians and Kogi State at large to keep giving him the support, advice and contribution in bringing good governance to the grassroots, as he urged all to continue in prayers towards the GYB2PYB project.
