Hon Moses Sunday David Presents The 2022 Budget Proposal to Mopamuro Legislative Council.
The Executive Chairman of Mopamuro LGA Council, Hon Moses Sunday David has presented the 2022 appropriation budget to the Mopamuro Legislative Council.
The budget tagged ‘Budget of Hope” was presented today the 2nd of December 2021 inside the Legislative Chamber within the local government Secretariat premises before the full house in a session presided over by the Leader of the Council, Rt. Hon Opeyemi James.
The Chairman gave a glimpse of the document in his speech as he mentioned that the Council shall be focussing on generating more internal revenue in the face of dwindling allocation.
“The budget touched fundamental areas that could positively impact the lives of Mopamuro people. Cardinal areas like water provision, primary health care delivery,education, agriculture and enhancing security of lives and properties”. Hon Moses said.
In her reaction, The Council Leader, Rt. Hon Opeyemi James promised accelerated consideration and passage of the Budget for timely implementation by the government.
With Hon Moses Sunday David in the chamber were members of his cabinet including the Vice Chairman, Hon Mrs Mercy Bukola Obajemu, Council Secretary, Hon Dele Eseyin, CoS , Hon Tope Daniel, All Supervisory Councillors, Senior Special Assistant and some party faithfuls.
Also present were The LG DLG, Mr Micheal Eseyin, LGT, Alh Kadiri Rasaq ,All Heads of Departments and other staff of the Mopamuro LG Council.
