The Igala Youth Frontiers have publicly commended the outstanding leadership of Ag. Provost San Umar Anataku Shaibu, celebrating his tenure as a shining example of commitment, vision, and results since assuming office.
Under his guidance, the College has witnessed remarkable strides in academic excellence, infrastructural development, and student welfare. His unwavering dedication has not only raised the standard of education but also inspired confidence among students, staff, and the wider community.
The group highlighted that the Provost’s forward-looking vision has positioned the institution as a center of innovation and learning. From upgrading lecture halls and academic facilities to fostering collaborations within the health sector, his leadership continues to deliver practical, transformative results.
Particularly, the Igala Youth Frontiers praised Ag. Provost Shaibu’s commitment to youth development, mentorship, and empowerment. His inclusive and hands-on leadership style, combined with transparency and fairness, has created an environment where students and staff alike can thrive.
The group further acknowledged his notable achievements, including securing NBTE accreditation for the HND programs in Health Information Management and Environmental Health and mobilizing the first set of students from these departments for NYSC after 45 years of the College’s existence.
Other landmark initiatives under his leadership include:
Installation of 40 streetlights across the campus.
Construction of a modern CBT Center equipped with over 120 computers.
Renovation and expansion of the Entrepreneurship Centre with new equipment,
Ongoing reconstruction and modernization of the old five-room administrative block
to a modern and beffiting one.
Purchase of Provost official car.
Beyond infrastructure and academic development, the Provost has fostered a culture of unity and mutual respect, showing love and support to all staff, regardless of tribe or rank.
