

The Ankpa Brothers have paid a royal courtesy visit on 2/1/2026 to His Royal Highness, the Onu Megwa of Abache, His Royal Highness Hon. Ahmed Ahmed, in a move aimed at strengthening cultural ties and promoting unity among communities and affiliate with him on his coronation as Onu Megwa.
The delegation was warmly received at the royal palace by the monarch, accompanied by palace chiefs and elders. The visit underscored the Ankpa Brothers’ respect for traditional institutions and their commitment to peaceful coexistence and community development.
Speaking during the visit, the President of the Ankpa Brothers Sani Daniel expressed appreciation to His Excellence the Executive Governor of Kogi State for considering HRH Hon Ahmed Ahmed worthy of ascending to the throne of his for fathers, and also appreciates the hospitality of His Royal Highness and commended his leadership role in fostering peace, stability, and the preservation of cultural heritage within the Abache Kingdom.
In his response, His Royal Highness Hon. Ahmed Ahmed welcomed the delegation and praised their unity and show of respect for traditional authority.
