

Forum of Abia Democrats (FAD), has lauded the affirmation of Engr. Stanley Uche as the house of representatives candidate of the Nigeria Democratic Congress (NDC) for ikwuano/umuahia federal constituency seat in the forthcoming 2027 main elections in by the national leadership of the party.
The forum made the commendation in a press statement issued to journalists on Thursday in Umuahia, the Abia state capital.
The statement was signed by the chairman of the forum, Surveyor Samuel Aguiyi and Secretary- General, Amb Chinedu Emereuwa.
Forum of Abia Democrats (FABD) commended the leadership of the NDC for upholding the people’s mandate and internal democracy within the party fold in making its final decision on the outcome of the recently-concluded house of representatives primary election held for ikwuano/umuahia federal constituency seat.
The forum appreciated party members for the overwhelming support given to Engr Stanley Uche during the party primaries held in the constituency.
While also commending the party leadership for considering competence and grassroots acceptance in arriving at its decision on the house of representatives ticket, the forum described Engr Stanley Uche as the best man for the plum legislative job, having demonstrated capacity when he chaired and coordinated professional bodies effectively.
According to the forum, “the confidence and widespread acceptance Engr. Stanley Uche enjoys among the electorates in ikwuano/umuahia federal constituency will turn into electoral victory for NDC in next year’s general election.
Forum of Abia Democrats (FABD) described Engr Stanley Uche’s emergence as the NDC 2027 house of representatives standard-bearer as the begining of a new chapter of progress and purposeful leadership in ikwuano/umuahia federal constituency.
“We believe Engr. Stanley Uche has the wherewithal to drive development and uplift rural communities in federal constituency through the attractions of meaningful infrastructural projects and provision of essential amenities across the constituency when chosen in the coming election as next lawmaker and member of the Nigerian house of representatives.
“Aside from attracting essential socio-economic and infrastructural projects, it is not in doubts Engr. Stanley Uche will make a difference by sponsoring resulted -oriented motions and impactful bills, and make development-oriented laws which will strength all relevant institutions of democratic governance in Nigeria when elected into the green chamber of the national assembly.
The southeast forum therefore pledged to deliver bulk votes to NDC to ensure the victory and emergence of Engr. Stanley Uche as lawmaker representing ikwuano/umuahia federal constituency at the green chamber of the national assembly come next year’s elections across the country.
