As the political equation towards 2023 election gathers momentum across the federation, a group, under the aegis of Yagba PDP Youth Vanguard has endorsed Sikiru Bamidele Yusuf for House of Representatives, Yagba Federal constituency.
Giving reasons for their endorsement on Monday, 25, April 2022. The group said, Sikiru’s leadership capacity as a team player, competency and legislative experience among many considerations stands him out.
Speaking on behalf of the group, it’s leader, comrade Dare Macus Oluyemi said the decision to endorse Hon. Sikiru Bamidele Yusuf for House of Reps was taken after meeting with all the group’s coordinators which were drawn from each wards of Yagba federal constituency, Dare who is a native of Yagba west, said the group at its meeting commended Sikiru for his loyalty to leadership, courage and determination to change the status quo.
The group considers Sikiru’s aspiration as a response to the clarion calls of the Youth strata of the society who have waited long enough to have their own representing the people of Yagba Federal Constitution.
“We, as Constituents, have seen and believed in his capacity to deliver appropriately and we have come out today to officially and publicly endorsed him as our aspirant for the House of Representatives, to represent the good people of Yagba federal constituency come 2023.”
Dare further admonished the people of Yagba federal constituency to join the efforts to canvas, support, and pray for the realization of Sikiru’s aspiration. Promising that Sikiru will give better, quality and effective representation to the people of Yagba land.
Finally, Dare pleaded with other contestants and stakeholders of Yagba federal constituency to rally round and queue behind the candidature of Sikiru Bamidele Yusuf, says it is time the elders reciprocate the long period the Youth have served and worked for them.
