Kogi state House of Assembly has passed into law the bills for the establishment of Kogi state university, kabba, as well as the bill for the repealed and reenacted Kogi state law on the prohibition of kidnapping.
The bills were passed following the adoption of the report of house adhoc committee on education, security and awards and clause by clause
consideration at the committee of the whole on the floor of the house.
In reporting progress,the speaker Alhaji Aliu Umar Yusuf commended the lawmakers for their diligence in ensuring the quick passage of the bills after the public hearing.
