
Labour Party governorship candidate in Kogi state, Adejoh Okeme on Thursday, expressed confidence in the ability of INEC to conduct free, fair and credible election come November 11 polls
Okeme also expressed his believe that security agencies will live up to expectation in ensuring violence free election to allow voters come out to exercise their franchise on Saturday.
He promised to provide sound leadership that would boost the living conditions of Kogi people as well as to embark on industrialization of the state
Okeme who made the pledge at a press conference in Lokoja on Thursday, assured of more opportunities for the citizens of the state if elected.
He said that priority would be given to employment and job creation for the teeming youths who are jobless
While noting that leadership has remain a problem of the State, promised a robust leadership that will be fair and transparent
LP candidate also said that he will give attention to the welfare of teachers, health workers and revival of the Primary Health Care system in the state.
“My administration if given the mandate will ensure improvement in education, Sports and unity of the people irrespective of ethnic, political and religious differences” Okeme further assured
