Covid-19:Iyalode Tolani Salawu organises 4-in-1 package for her community
The Iyalode of Ayetoro Gbede community of Ijumu local government area of kogi state, Chief (Mrs) Tolani Salawu has extended her good gesture to various categories of people in her community, to cushion the effects of the lock down over the pandemic ravaging the globe.
The special package was in four categories of events ranging from:1. Clothing the aged mothers and widows, Health talk, Free Medical diagnosis and treatments for the elderly and Empowerment of teenage mothers with working tools, while observing social distancing and all set down precautions on the Covid-19 guidelines.
Iyalode Tolani Salawu in her statement said that “Coronavirus pandemic halts the earlier scheduled date for the official launching of IYALODE TOLANI CARES. Little do we know that God’s plans and timing are always the best”.
She however returned all Glory and Honour to God for divine inspirations and grace to interpret same to the glory of Almighty God.
Notwithstanding, she said “when the going get tough, the tough get going. Amidst the present Global situation, God is still faithful by giving me the opportunity to deliver His messages as a Queen that ‘Mothers At Her Best’ and as a Messager of Good news to God’s Own People and to His glory, we were able to achieve these few but impacting programs.”
“My sincere appreciation goes to all my mothers, fathers, brothers, sisters and friends for sacrificing their time in ensuring the success of the PROGRAM even in my absence. God bless you and preserve you and yours. You all will not share in the evil fashion of Covid-19”.
“Thankful to all good people in my life that has supported this program in one way or the other. May God reward you and yours beautifully. May you never lack any good things of life and hereafter. I love you all”.

“And to my humble self, well done girl for making yourself available to be used positively. Keep going, baba God is just starting with you. Titi laelae, Oluwa loni glory” she submitted.
According to Iyalode Tolani Salawu, the various programmes will by the grace of God be an annual event to bring succour to the people of her community as her own way of giving back to the community.
