Demise of Mrs. Zainab Kolawole is Shocking and Painful – Omofaiye
Kogi State Commissioner of Environment, Chief Victor Adewale Omofaiye on Monday said the death of Mrs. Zainab Kolawole, wife of Speaker of the State House of Assembly is shocking and painful.
Chief Omofaiye made the remark in a Statement while reacting to the death of Mrs. Kolawole in a Lagos Hospital on Sunday Morning.
In his words: ” I received the news of the unfortunate death of the wife of our beloved Speaker of Kogi State House of Assembly, Mrs. Zainab Kolawole with rude shock. This is one death too many and a great loss.”
He said “We spoke about four days and she promised to pound yam for me whenever she comes back from Lagos.”
According to him, the death of Mrs. Kolawole has created a vacuum too difficult to fill, saying “It is very painful to lose a Mother and a wife. We will miss this great virtuous woman of God, so caring and God fearing.”
He sympathized with the Speaker, Prince Matthew Kolawole, his immediate family, people of Kabba-Bunu and Adavi Local Government Area and members of the Message Chapel over the loss.
Chief Omofaiye prayed God to console them to bear the grief of losing a beloved wife and the deceased eternal rest in paradise.
