Kogi State Civil Servants have been appreciated for their sense of patriotism and contributions
to the growth of the State Public Service.
The Kogi State Head of Civil Service, Elder Deborah A. Ogunmola made this statement in her
office while congratulating Civil Servants on the occasion of the 2020 Workers Day Celebration.
Speaking further, Elder Deborah Ogunmola gave glory to the Almighty God for sparing the
lives of Workers to witness another May Day, which is being marked low key due to the COVID
19 Pandemic.
She used the medium to pray that none of the workers and their relatives will fall victim of the
pandemic.
4.The Head of Civil Service expressed her profound appreciation to Labour Leaders in the State,
describing them as not only matured, but patriotic, especially on the issues of industrial
relations and conflict management.
Still speaking, she praised the Labour Leaders and the entire workforce in the State for their
support and cooperation with the Administration of Alh. Yahaya Bello, the Executive Governor of
Kogi State. She assured them that with their unalloyed dedication and support, there is no doubt
that things will continue to get better in the State.
She equally used the occasion to appreciate His Excellency for his unwavering interest and support to the improvement of the State Civil Servants and the Service and wished him God’s
guidance at all time.
She concluded by wishing all Civil Servants a happy Workers Day.
