UPLAND CENTER DIRECTOR COMMENDS STAFF. The Director of Upland College of Education Ifira-Ipesi, Akoko, Ondo State, Okene Study Center, Mallam Adams Ododo has commended teaching staff of the Institution foe their contributions, steadfastness and adding values to education development. Mall. Adams Ododo made the commendation in a meeting with rhe lecturers of the Institution at Okene, reminded them to be upright and give proper teaching and learning to the students at the cenrer. He advised the lecturers to adhere strictly to the college curriculum to give right course contents to the students to enable them be at par with their regular counterparts in the main campus.
Mall. Ododo said the Provost of the College is proud of the effort, commitment and standard of the . students at Okene Study Center in their quest for learning and knowledge and urged to improve on their academlic standard. He said that the Upland College of Education is an affiliate to Ekiti Stare University, Ado-Ekiti, runs courses and programmes in education leading to the award of certificates in National Certificate in Education (NCE) and Bachelors degree in education in various disciplines. The Director reminded the lecturers to be exemplary in their official work as the Institution authority will adequately cater for their welfare as at when due. He called for cooperation, unity and understanding of the lecturers to make Okene study center a model among the Institution outreach centers. In remark, the Centerr Coordinator, Mall. Muhammed Hussein urged the staff to sustain their harmonious working relationship with the Institution and assured that they will not be short changed in rhe school’s programmes. He told rhe lecturers to always forward rheir request and needs to him. to enable them function effectively. The lecturers who spoke at the meeting among whom was Mall. Obeito S. Hassan, promised to be just and above board in discharging their official duties and urged the Center Director to made the meeting with the staff a regular interface.
