A prominent grassroots politician and respected public figure, Hon. A.A. Yaba Maisaka, has extended warm congratulations to His Excellency, Alh. Suleiman Baba Ali, the Matawalle Arewa Nupe and Gabi Sayyadi of Lokoja, on his recent appointment as a Member of the Board of the North Central Development Commission (NCDC).
In a statement issued on Friday in Lokoja, Hon. Maisaka described the appointment as “well-deserved,” noting that Alh. Suleiman Baba Ali’s pedigree, experience, and long-standing commitment to national development make him eminently qualified for even higher offices.
“Given his pedigree, we had hoped and expected an even higher national assignment. However, we submit to the will of Almighty Allah, the best of planners, who appoints and elevates in His perfect timing,” Maisaka said.
He expressed confidence that the new appointee would bring his trademark dedication and wisdom to bear in the performance of his duties on the board and prayed for divine guidance and protection for him throughout his tenure.
“We believe this appointment is a stepping stone to even greater responsibilities. Indeed, higher favours await him. We rejoice with him and thank Allah for this opportunity, which the President of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, His Excellency, Senator Bola Ahmed Tinubu, GCFR, has graciously approved,” he added.
Hon. Yaba Maisaka also commended President Tinubu for recognizing Alh. Suleiman Baba Ali’s capacity for service, describing the decision as both timely and strategic for the development of the North Central region.
“As I congratulate His Excellency, I equally express my heartfelt appreciation to Mr. President for this honourable appointment. May Almighty Allah continue to protect and strengthen Alh. Suleiman Baba Ali now and always,” he concluded.
