The Provost of Federal College of Education, Okene, Dr. Ibrahim Ismaila Mosimabale has on behalf of the Governing Council and Management felicitated with the christian faithfuls , staff and students, on the occasion of the Easter celebration.
According to him, Easter is a sacred season that reminds the christian faithfuls of the profound virtues of sacrifice, love, hope, and renewal, as exemplified in the life and resurrection of Jesus Christ.
He therefore charged the christian faithfuls to embrace selflessness, forgiveness, and unwavering faith in the face of challenges.
He stressed further that “as we celebrate, let us reflect deeply on the boundless love of Christ, who taught us to love our neighbours as ourselves. In a diverse academic community such as ours, this message is especially significant. We are encouraged to foster unity, mutual respect, and peaceful coexistence across religious, cultural, and social lines.
May this season inspire us all—staff and students alike—to strengthen the bonds of harmony, promote understanding, and work collectively towards the growth and stability of our College and the nation at large.
Let us continue to be our brother’s keeper, uphold the values of tolerance, and contribute positively to a peaceful and progressive society.
