A.K. Saliu Political Movement to Conclude Skills Training Programme in Kogi Central
The Hon. A.K. Saliu Political Movement has announced plans to hold the closing ceremony of its Skills Acquisition Training Programme aimed at empowering youths and women in Kogi Central.
According to a statement issued by the Director-General of the movement, Sir James Bello, the event is scheduled for September 12, 2026, at 9:00 a.m. at the residence of Honourable Abdulkareem Saliu in Irivusechi Oboroke, Ihima, Okehi Local Government Area of Kogi State.
The statement noted that the programme, powered by Honourable Abdulkareem Saliu, is part of ongoing efforts to equip participants with practical skills for self-reliance and economic development.
Hon. Yakubu Siyaka Adabenege (Fancy), the Auditor-General for Local Government and Chieftaincy Affairs in Kogi State, is expected to attend the ceremony as Special Guest and Keynote Speaker.
Organisers said the event would mark the culmination of the training initiative and provide an opportunity to celebrate beneficiaries who have successfully completed the programme.
The movement further extended an invitation to stakeholders and members of the public to attend the ceremony and support initiatives geared towards grassroots empowerment in the state.
