2022: DG GOVT HOUSE FELICITATES WITH ALL AND SUNDRY

As the Gregorian calendar starts on a fresh note today Saturday, the 1st of January, 2022, Alh. Dr. Umar Oricha Shuaibu serving as the Director General, Government House Administration (DGGHA), Lokoja has given back all the thanks to God almighty for allowing us see a brand new year in 2022. Speaking with much gratitude to God he said, “words are not enough to express how grateful I am to God for the gift of life He has bestowed on us to see yet another fresh and promising year.”
The DGGHA added that, “those of us whom God has given much divine protection, sound health and the wherewithal to enter into 2022 should know that to whom much is given; much is also required.” He opined that, “we should not for any reason distance ourselves from worshipping God by praying at all times as that is the only way we can show Him our little appreciation for giving us the gift of life.”
Alh. Dr. Umar Oricha Shuaibu also pointed out that there is the need for us to remember the needy that we will always continue to have in our midst. He said, “it will be good for us to remember the needy and give to them the little that God has made available to us. God created this world for us to have an edge over the other. We should avail ourselves to be used by God to serve humanity with the edge God has given to us without murmuring and grumbling.”
The DGGHA did not leave out the important aspect of prayers for Kogi State and Nigeria at large. He pointed out that, “as Kogites and Nigerians, the onus lies on us all to pray for the betterment of our land as there is no other place we can call home. Nigeria is plagued at the moment with a high rate of insecurity and since the year 2022 is penultimate to the year 2023 when Nigerians will be electing new political office holders, we need to pray fervently for our country seeking the face of God to give unto us leadership vessels that will lead us unto honour.” He also encouraged all Kogites to pray for His Excellency, Alh. Yahaya Bello for him to continue to wax stronger in directing the affairs of Kogi State and also for the bright future of wearing a bigger shoe of leadership that is before him by the special grace of God almighty.
Alh. Dr. Umar Oricha Shuaibu also congratulated all the staff working under him at the Government House for been part of those that God graciously allowed to journey into the year 2022.
