COSTEC To Expand It’s Facilities on Campus

The Vice Chancellor Confluence University of Science and Technology,

Professor Abdulrahman Asipita Salawu  says the institution will be focusing on more construction infrastructures on the campus.

He stated this when he led other management staff of the institution to defend it’s twenty twenty four budget estimate at the assembly complex.

He said the institution was still challenged by office accommodation for staffs as well as students hostels and classrooms.

While appreciating Governor Yahaya Bello for his transparency , assistance and commitment to building a world class university, Professor Salawu urged the house to carryout oversight functions to the institution so as to see what the it has and what it needs.

Similarly, the Provost College of Education Ankpa, Doctor Mohammed Ksbiru, said the institution would be implementing the new bill recently signed by President Bola Tinubu empowering colleges of education carrying out degree programmes without been affiliated to universities.

He said the bill when domesticated by the state would allow the institution award degree and this would increase the students enrollment into the institution.

Doctor Kabiru said the issue of mushroom schools existing within Ankpa needed to be checkmated as they assembly was poised to putting an end to such menace.
