Recent Anyigba Bank Robbery; Dekina/Bassa Rep Member Charges F.G On Urgent Security Measures.

On the recent bank robbery in Anyigba, Dekina LGA, precisely which led Rt. Hon. Paul Gowon Haruna (IJN), Member Representing Bassa/Dekina Federal Constituency in the House of Representatives call on the Federal Government to urgently intervene and provide necessary securities measures to combat the escalating insecurity in the Federal Constituency in particular and kogi East in general through a motion of urgent public importance moved and passed in the floor of the house on 12/03/2024. The Federal Government has promptly and graciously deployed a company and platoon of army personnel in Anyigba, Dekina LGA and Ejule, Ofu LGA respectfully to provide security in the both area.

This feat won’t have come to pass without the efforts and support of His Excellency, The Executive Governor of kogi state, Alhaji Ahmed Usman Ododo, Rt Hon Tajudeen Abbass and other relevant committees involved

Hon. Paul Gowon Haruna (IJN) commended the Federal Government and the Executive Governor of Kogi State, Alhaji Ahmed Usman Ododo for their swift and timely response and urged the good people of his federal constituency to continue to support the Government of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu and Governor Ahmed Usman Ododo in order to attract more dividends of democracy to the area. He also solicited for their support for the security personnel deployed to protect them and their properties by volunteering necessary information that can help them carry out their assignment effectively and never allow themselves to be used to sabotage their patriotic efforts.

Rt. Hon. Paul Gowon Haruna (IJN) said he remain dedicated to advocating for the welfare of his constituents and will continue to work tirelessly to address pressing issues affecting the hardworking people of Bassa/Dekina Federal Constituency.
