On behalf of the Governing Council, Senate, Management, Staff and Students of Prince Abubakar Audu University, Anyigba, I heartily congratulate His Excellency, the Executive Governor of Kogi State, Alhaji Ahmed Usman Ododo, and the good people of Kogi State on the 35th anniversary of the creation of our dear state.
Kogi State remains richly endowed with human capital, culture and natural resources, making it a true confluence of peoples and possibilities. Thirty-five (35) years after its creation, this milestone offers an opportunity to reflect on our journey, celebrate our achievements and renew our commitment to the state’s continued progress.
We commend the present administration under the leadership of Governor Ahmed Usman Ododo for its focus on infrastructural development, human capital development, fiscal discipline and institutional strengthening. His administration’s support for education and tertiary institutions across the state is commendable, and Prince Abubakar Audu University appreciates the enabling environment provided for teaching, learning, research and innovation.
Despite the challenges along the way, Kogi State has remained strong and united, making progress across several fronts. We pray that Almighty God will continue to grant our leaders the wisdom to uphold democracy, good governance and shared prosperity, and guide the present administration as it builds on the gains already recorded.
Once again, on behalf of Prince Abubakar Audu University, Anyigba, I extend my hearty congratulations to the Government and people of Kogi State on this 35th anniversary.
Long live Kogi State.
Long live the Federal Republic of Nigeria.
Professor Salisu Ogbo Usman,
